Do you like to read books? I like it very much. When we read smth interesting we dive into the colorful sea of this story and realistically produce characters, nature, atmosphere.

My favourite book is The Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny. Most of all in it I admire the concept of our world. The Universe consists of a lot of parallel worlds which are reflections or shadows of Amber and Chaos. Amber and Chaos are the original, first-ever lands. Only princes and princesses of these two lands can travel between the worlds of reflections. Shadows change for the certain law. The more the distance from the original land is, the less they look like Amber and Chaos. In addition, the author plays with the nature and physical laws in them. Some shadows have blue Sun, some glass cities and others have towns of spirits.

By the way, The Earth is the favourite shadow of the main character.

So, what about you? What is your favourite book and why?

Now I’m reading “ASong of Ice and Fire” by George R. Martin. I hadn’t enjoyed so much for a longtime but I hadn’t read just for my pleasure for a long time too.

It’s a series of 5books and 2 books are going to coming. It’s a “light” fantasy – there aren’t alots magic, it isn’t the main idea (I think so.)

The story takes place in a fictional place with medieval customs.Main heroes are human: kings, their relatives, people closely connected with kings and etc. There are no bad or good characters all of them are people with merits and demerits furthering theirs own interest.

They struggle for a throne, their family, themselves, the peace etc.

Every character is described in detail and this is what I like - how they get the power, lose relatives, betray or be betrayed, survive hopeless situations…

For me this book is about human emotions, motives, development…
