There are so many places in the world. But not all of them touch our heart, inspire us. Why our feelings make these places so special to us? Why they are more attractive and beautiful than others?
Let`s share these places (countries, cities, streets, parks, hotels, restaurants, cafes) that make you feel different. Tell me about such place and why it`s so important for you? Why do you love it and want to spend time there?
What about me? While I was thinking about this topic I suddenly realize that I don`t like any place that much. People with whom I`m with at the moment make the place special not the place itself. Hmm, no, I`m wrong. The place and people all together make the time special. But there is a place and a time that comes to mind. 4 years ago I was on a vacation with my family. It was winter holidays that we were spending in Salla, Finland. We had an amazing woodhouse with a fireplace. And it was so cold outside that we almost didn`t go anywhere, well we were trying to ski but we didn`t have any luck because of the weather. And of course we saw northern lights and Santa and we were in the ice bar, how couldn`t we - it`s Lapland. But the special was the time that we spent in the house playing poker, monopoly and other games, talking, watching movies, drinking mulled wine and cooking together. It was magical!

It looks magnificent, although personally I prefer to be able to venture out of doors from time to time. Is this the actual house you stayed in?

Yeah, it is. Well, we did venture out almost every day but max from 30 min to an hour, it was quite hard to stay out longer.
Nope, unfortunately not, I found this picture in the Internet. I like it more than the one we had. And we had this house. Posted Image

So, Bill, do you have that special place where you feel just great? Maybe anything besides home?
